Ax delivers on its promise to release a Dogecoin-themed deodorant

Unilever subsidiary Ax is set to release 100 Dogecoin themed antiperspirant deodorant sticks this Wednesday.

As reported by U.Today, the limited edition of “Dogecan: The Stick” was initially announced on “Dogeday”, which is celebrated on April 20, abbreviated as 4/20.

Dogecoin fans must pre-register to be able to purchase one of the sticks using their favorite meme coin.

Last year, Ax also dropped a “crypto-scented” body spray about a year ago, inspired by the best meme cryptocurrency. It initially planned to release a limited edition of such cans when the price of Dogecoin reached $1.

One of the leading deodorant brands decided to give some away for free, despite DOGE failing to hit the aforementioned price milestone. The community managed to get hold of the free cans in just 10 minutes.

As reported by U.Today, Dogecoin’s price recently soared to $0.171, its highest level since early April, after social media giant Twitter announced it had reached an acquisition deal with Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

The high-profile deal is expected to boost Dogecoin adoption as the Bitcoin parody is the penny millionaire’s cryptocurrency of choice.

However, the cryptocurrency quickly gave up its gains and plummeted by more than 13%. That said, DOGE remains in the top 10 largest cryptocurrencies by market cap.
