Cardano gets closer to Vasil Hard Fork
The Cardano blockchain is just a week away from the launch of the Vasil hardfork
Input Output, the developer of the Cardano blockchain, is in the final stages of preparations for its upcoming hard fork combiner (HFC) event dubbed “Vasil”.
The upgrade is expected to significantly improve the Plutus smart contract platform.
According to the most recent updatethe developer team has successfully delivered a new node release for the Vasil upgrade with the first release of the command line interface.
Named after the late Bulgarian mathematician Vasil Dabov, the highly anticipated hardfork event is set for June 29.
For now, Input Output developers will continue to work on resolving the remaining issues discovered during the final testing process, including 40 Cardano-based projects.
As reported by U.Today, there are now more than 1,000 projects building on the popular proof-of-stake blockchain.
