Elon Musk Believes Robinhood Wallets Are A Huge Deal For Dogecoin

In his Sunday tweet, Dogecoin co-founder Billy Markus shared his experience sending Dogecoin from his Robinhood wallet for the first time. In another tweet, he also explained that DOGE can now be used for tipping, trading and other purposes as Robinhood users can embrace decentralization, stating that it will be a huge deal for all SHIB holders. The tweet has caught the attention of Elon Musk; the centibillionaire liked it and agreed with Markus.

Currently, Robinhood users can buy and sell seven cryptocurrencies. However, most of them still cannot withdraw coins in third-party wallets.

Bloomberg’s Mike McGlone: ​​BTC and ETH Are In Early Adoption Days

According to Bloomberg Intelligence senior commodities strategist Mike McGlone, the two largest cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin and Ethereum, are in the early stages of their adoption. In his recent tweet, he wrote that due to the dynamics of supply and demand, BTC and ETH are expected to continue to appreciate, and only a black swan event can stop their proliferation.

At the same time, McGlone has heavily criticized Dogecoin and Shiba Inu. He believes that the sooner the market is cleared of such meme coins, the sooner Bitcoin and Ethereum can begin transforming the global financial system.

9 billion SHIB taken over by whales as price rises

Whales have been buying more SHIB lately and last Saturday was no exception. According to Etherscan, on January 29, three major crypto wallets purchased more than nine billion SHIB tokens. At the same time, the price of the meme token showed a slight increase of almost 5%. However, according to CoinMarketCap, SHIB has currently cut losses and is trading at $0.00002094.

According to WhaleStats data, large amounts of FTT, Polygon’s MATIC and Terra Luna’s native token, LUNA, have been bought by some of the top ETH 1,000 whales. Several of them (including those in 4th place) have acquired four million MATIC, which is equivalent to $5,529,716 in fiat. The 105th-placed whale on WhaleStats bought 15.7 million FTT worth a staggering $637,148,906. The 4th-ranked whale bought 135,000 LUNA, for a total of $6,725,700.
