How to Use Google Image Search on iPhone or iPad
You can use Google Image Search to find images, image information, or visually similar images on your iPhone or iPad. You can search with keywords, with an image you found or with an image you have saved on your device.

You can use your favorite browser or the Google app to find an image. Once you find one, you can further narrow down the search results based on Google’s suggestions to find a suitable image.
Open to get started Google Image Search site in Safari or Google Chrome on your iPhone or iPad. Type words to search for an image you want to see.
Or, using the Google app, just enter a search term and click “Images” on the results page.
You get a lot of images in the search results. In the bar between the images and search category tabs, you will find the tiles with relevant words related to the search term you entered. You can keep swiping left on that section until you find a suitable relevant word.
Selecting an appropriate word further refines the image search results.
Tap the Settings icon to view more sorting options, such as Latest, GIF, HD, Product, Color Options, and Usage Rights. You can choose one to further customize the results.
Search with an image from Google search results
If you find an image you like in the image search results, you can search for similar images using the Google Lens feature.
To do that, open Google Image Search in your favorite app and search for an image. In the search results, tap one of the images.
Tap the Google Lens icon (square with a circle in it).
The selected photo opens with selection handles around the subject in the photo. You can use those handles to focus on a specific area of the photo (such as text) or the entire image.
You will see the search results in a dialog box below the image. If you change your selection, the search results will change.

To begin with, start the Google Image Search site in a browser on your iPhone or iPad. Then you need to open the site in the desktop version. Here’s how to do it.
In Safari, tap the “aA” icon in the address bar and select “Request Desktop Site” from the pop-up menu.
In Google Chrome, tap the three horizontal dots in the lower-left corner and select “Request desktop site” from the pop-up menu. Other browsers have a similar option in the page settings.
The Google Image Search page appears as the desktop version in your mobile browser. Then tap the “Search by image” (camera) icon.
Select the “Upload an image” tab when the “Search by image” box appears.
Tap the “Choose File” button and select “Photo Library” to browse, select and upload the photo stored on your iPhone or iPad.
Once the photo is uploaded, Google Image Search will redirect you to a results page where you can see Google’s best estimate based on the photo uploaded. You will also see similar images on the same page and the links where the similar looking photo appears.

Search with a saved image in the Google app
You can use the Google app to search for similar images or find out more details about the image stored on your iPhone or iPad.
To get started, launch the Google app on your iPhone or iPad. To the right of the “Search” field, tap the “Google Lens” button (a camera icon).
On the “Google Lens” screen, tap the media icon at the bottom.
When the Google app opens the photo gallery for the first time, you will be prompted to allow access to your photo library.
When your gallery photos appear, tap the photo you want to use for your image search. When the selected photo appears in the Google app, tap it.
Google Lens will upload the image and display the photo with selection handles around it. You can drag those white handles to adjust the selection area.
At the bottom of the screen, you will see a white area where similar images appear. Swipe on it to see those images.
