It has updated its mobile app with a built-in GIF capture feature. All you need to do is compose a tweet, go to the in-app camera, then swipe to GIF mode. You can see a demo in the tweet where Twitter announced the feature, but Pocket-lint also summarized the steps below and also tried to answer some questions you may have about availability and more.

In the latest version of the Twitter app. Tap to create a new tweet. Select the camera icon. Choose the GIF option. Record to create your GIF.
Share a GIF on Twitter
After you create a GIF following the steps above, the full-sized GIF will be added to your tweet. Just click tweet to post and share it with your followers.
Who can make GIFs with Twitter?
Twitter’s GIF maker feature is only available to iOS users, and it’s not yet known if it’ll be available to Android users as well.
