New Shiba Inu Whale Emerges, Here’s How Much SHIB They Hold

Another major SHIB holder hits the market as SHIB flips FTT as prime asset for ETH whales
Recent on-chain data from the WhaleStats blockchain service shows that a new Shiba Inu whale has appeared, with a staggering amount of SHIB, which is also a huge number in USD equivalent.
In addition, SHIB has named FTT as the largest holding company among ETH whales.
New whale buys 3.4 trillion SHIB
According to WhaleStats, as a result of two trades conducted several hours ago, a new whale purse has sprung up in the Shiba Inu community. This wallet now contains a whopping 3,457,477,154,937 SHIB tokens, which is also worth a “decent” amount of USD: $115,998,358.

SHIB Becomes Largest USD Holding for ETH Whales
Another tweet shared by WhaleStats shows that SHIB has reached other milestones as well. Right now, the second largest meme cryptocurrency is the largest coin in USD value among the top 1,000 ETH whales.
In addition, SHIB has won FTT and has become the largest ERC-20 holding company for the above-mentioned ETH whales; SHIB now ranks second after ETH in the top 10 crypto holdings of ETH whales.
The meme token now makes up 16.85% of their wallets. That’s $1,822,731,714 in fiat. The ETH whales also have $1,738,099,872 in FTT, or 16.07% of their portfolios.
MATIC closes this list, ranking last (2.71%, worth $293,883,954), while MANA is only one higher up.

Whales keep buying MATIC and LINK as their price skyrockets
WhaleStats has also shown that major ETH holders continue to acquire Chainlink and Polygon (MATIC) tokens, while the price of these assets has risen in the past 24 hours.
In total, several whales have purchased 14,853,654 MATIC tokens. This amount of crypto is equivalent to $29,120,876. Polygon’s native crypto is up 11.20% and is currently trading at $1.99.
This is 33.16% lower than the historic peak of $2.92, which the currency reached on December 27.

Whales also purchased 429,990 LINK worth $8,173,410. LINK is up just over 1% in the past 24 hours, according to CoinMarketCap.
Ten hours ago, MATIC pushed SHIB from the position of most traded token through the top 1,000 Ethereum whales. Now it has been moved from that honorable spot by LINK.
