Next Earth will launch Strike and other updates soon

Next Earththe NFT-based metaverse replica of Earth with more than $10 million in virtual real estate sales has announced it is now under development, after the stakeout discovery phase.

The strike project is expected to start in June 2022. This means that users who own virtual real estate on Next Earth can generate one UNIT per piece of land per month. Users can generate strike wallets by spending UNITS, which will allow them to get an APR on their NXTT holdings.

As described in Next Earth’s updated white paperin the future there will be the possibility to get multipliers for generating units through activities such as buying new packs of virtual land or skins.

There will be 5 tiers of wagering wallets available (larger wallets cost more units), allowing users to achieve a higher monthly APR if they wish.

The monthly APR is variable based on the size of the decentralized reward pool. Next Earth has already pledged $1 million to NXTT in that decentralized rewards pool to initiate staking.

There will be a finite number of wagering wallets available each month, which will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. The number of wagering portfolios is determined by the size of the reward pool. The maximum NXTT amount that can be wagered is determined by the number of tiles the user has.

A detailed article on how the numbers work will be published within a week and a stakeout calculator will be made available in the coming weeks.

In addition to these short-term updates, Next Earth is working on a massive vision for the future of the metaverse. Their detailed road map includes providing access to their platform as a service, where third-party developers can build applications on top of the Next Earth Metaverse.

The team is doubling down on this vision – they have announced that their virtual land – more than 5 trillion tiles – is about to be upgraded with new attributes (climate, biomes, elevation, etc.) and through the introduction of resources and minerals, developers are really able to connect their businesses with land tiles on Next Earth.

As a company, Next Earth is committed to becoming climate neutral. These are just some of the highlights from the Next Earth roadmap. With so much in store, it’s no wonder the metaverse is getting more popular every day.
