Nintendo revealed during its latest financial report that lifetime sales for Switch reached 103.54 million as of December 31.
This not only exceeds the 100 million mark, but also surpasses the Wii’s 101.63 million consoles sold.
Originally launched on March 3, 2017, Switch still doesn’t have a successor in sight, so it should keep selling. Major games, including Splatoon 3 and the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, are coming.
However, Switch still has a long way to go if it is to surpass Nintendo’s best-selling console ever, the portable Nintendo DS. It sold over 154.02 million units.
