‘PowerWash Simulator’ Is Oh So Satisfying – Review Geek

There are few things I love more than a fine, thorough deep clean. Sometimes I wish I could just get a pressure washer and use it to clean everything. Happy, with PowerWash Simulatorthat’s exactly what i can do, and it is incredible Satisfying.

Developed by FuturLab, the game instructs you to clean up a dirt-covered city bit by bit. You might be thinking, “Why the hell would I pay for a video game that simulates chores I’m not even going to do in real life?” and that’s a perfectly valid question. But trust me, once you get your hands on this virtual pressure washer, you won’t want to stop. As ever. I played it for two hours last night and I don’t think I blinked once.

In PowerWash Simulator, you are in the town of Muckingham and the good citizens are crying out for help. It’s up to you, the hero, to clean up all the dirt, grime, graffiti and grime. Luckily, you’ve got the right tool for the job — your trusty pressure washer — and can even make some money along the way. Talk about job security!

You need to grab your trusty pressure washer and start cleaning up your van. From there, you can make your way through the city, clearing areas and items such as a fire truck, airplane, cat-shaped monster truck, backyard, cemetery, playground, mansion, carnival, forest cottage, subway platform, and more. The game even lets you use the laundry hose to knock over things like garden gnomes or flower pots while you’re cleaning, as a treat.

However, as with any cleaning project, the devil is in the details. A simple swipe across the front of an object probably isn’t enough to get all the gunk off, and some chunks of grime will require a little extra effort to get rid of them.

You may need to take a few steps, change your angle, or replace a different nozzle; you have a few nozzles to choose from here, such as a softer wide-angle nozzle or a narrower, more intense spray option. Once you’ve cleaned a specific object area or item, it will glow and glow for a moment, letting you know it’s done.

That’s pretty much all the game has to offer – it’s not complicated because it doesn’t have to be. There is no time limit for every job or a time limit or someone who judges your work. In fact, the only pressure in this game is that of the water coming out of the spray head.

As you focus on washing away all the dirt in Muckingham, I bet you’ll feel your worries and stress wash away too, because this game is seriously zen. After all, how can you worry about remembering to pay a stupid bill on time or send Mom’s flowers for Mother’s Day if you’re blowing grime off your barbecue grill? It’s satisfying work, and all the spring cleaning any of us should ever do.

PowerWash Simulator is currently still in Early Access, so you may encounter bugs or glitches when downloading and playing it. The game may change before it’s officially released, or it may not; that’s up to the developer. Personally, when I played through it, I didn’t encounter any bugs or notable issues. In any case, I strongly recommend that you buy and play this game. It’s incredibly relaxing and rewarding, and you can put it down and pick it up whenever you want.
