Prasar Bharati, in partnership with Google, has announced that it is removing all rogue applications masquerading as All India Radio and Doordarshan and using their content illegally. Now more similar applications have been identified and are currently being shut down by Google.

The Indian public broadcaster said that legal action will be taken soon against such impersonators who illegally use Doordarshan and All India Radio content on their apps, websites, YouTube channels or any other platform
